Just a Run

My father is the best guy ever. Last weekend he went to St. George to run a marathon he had trained for, but the sadest thing happened. He got super sick a day before. My Thoughts Exactly

She's my hero

You ever have a friend who goes through a trial and they come out of it like a complete champ? And then all you can say is "You're my hero! And you're so strong!" This girl is mine. My lovely friend Krista. She's also the hottest of all the babes I know.

One Saturday night I called Krista to ask if she was going to her school's football game because I happened to be there and wanted to hangout with her. Sadly she was in San Diego for her cousin'so wedding reception. We said our goodbyes over the phone, and only 45 minutes later, she was almost taken from this world. Her family's car got hit by a drunk driver on the way home from the wedding, and they rolled 5ft down a hill from the freeway. As they rolled, Krista got ejected from the car because her seat belt broke. It's a serious miracle this girl is still in our lives, and I'm so grateful for the countless answered prayers on her behalf. 

Once she was transferred to a nearby hospital, I was able to visit her 2 times and both times I could tell she was already getting better. She always is so happy and has tons of energy! And her lifelong goal was to be able to lift only 1 of her eyebrows and guess what? She accomplished the goal! Of course it's a lot different than she thought it would be though.

I live the wild life

My school nights recently have consisted of lots and lots of late nights. I guess that's what happens when your friends are all musicians. On this particular farewell to A Asteroid, I was the guest feature who played the keyboard with Pete for a song. Boy do I love performing. I wish I kept up with the trusty piano.

The Final Countdown..

Has begun with my first and last Homecoming dance. It was a night filled with out-of-tune ukelelees, sweat dripping down our backs, and borrowed pants ripping right down the butt. I will never forget the feelings I have from high school experiences.

Cause We Could

Last Christmas I had the wonderful opportunity to sing at Disneyland with my school choir. This crazy,t iring adventure meant that each of us got a Disneyland ticket to go back anytime that next year. The best part is this boy, Stephen, and I started hanging out again this Summer and we decided the perfect end to our Summer would be a sweet Disneyland trip together on the hottest day of the whole summer. It was a great day. Hot, yes-But all together quite amazing.

The park was empty and we got on every ride which made it perfect for us cheapos who would never spend our money to go to Disneyland. 

Dear (future) Husband,

I just want to let you know that I'm faithfully waiting for you. I'm preparing myself to be the best wife and momma to some cute kids too. Don't worry, I've got a long lists of adventures for us to go on-but know that I am in no hurry. I'm enjoying my life, and I sure as heck hope you are enjoying yours too.
