Scream and Shout! School is Out!

I finished my Junior Year. Phew! It was a close one, that's for sure. To start off Summer, I sang at graduation again this year and then I watched as 87% of my friends graduated from high school. That means they are leaving me alone with 4 other kiddos to trek through senior year. I'll have another wonderful post about our graduation adventure, but not right now.
Anyways, since school has been out, I have been stuck working 8 hour shifts everyday. It's seriously really really sad, depressing, and tiring. While I love kids, I cannot handle another day surrounded by them. And don't even get me started on the lovely Toddler Time.

My wonderful Coworkers love to take photos of me:

Being Summer though, it means one of my best friends comes in town for 2 months! He is my best friend Travis' cousin who lives in Arizona. He is meant to live in San Clemente though and that's a fact. Together the 3 of us dominate every party we go to/work at because we are that fun.
Admit it, you think he's hot

Yeah, we are the life of every party

Late nights, Dim Lights

This past weekend was a three day weekend. The last day we had off school until summer is here(today marks exactly 2 weeks until school is out). Being this excited about a break, you better believe I made it the best weekend ever.

It started on Friday when I drove up to Long Beach to spend the weekend at my grandparent's house. Not long after I arrived, I went over to my friend's house where we worked on his new clothing company and picked up his new pins and stickers. Then we picked up another friend and we headed to the Observatory in Santa Ana.

There we met up with 9 other friends, and shoved our way to the front of the pit to be really freaking close to the band. We saw The Neighbourhood and it was AMAZING!!!

After the amazing concert, we hit up in-n-out before calling it a night.
The next night was a different story. It started with my first energy drink, and I was already super hyper before that!!
We decided to go to a concert for Dresses, JMSN, and Sir Sly. We were right up in front of the stage again and all 5 of us had the best time ever. We even got T-shirts and pins.

This is where the story changes. Twists. And winds up as a crazy adventure.
Kayvon's car was towed. It took 30 minutes to figure out what we were going to do about it, and once we did we still had to get his mom to come to Costa Mesa from Rancho Cucamonga. Luckily I drove in my car, and we didn't take our jeep because everyone wouldn't fit in the car.
We hopped in the car, went to sonic to quench our thirst, and then drove to the tow yard. After an hour and a half of talking, laughing, peeing our pants, and acting like retards- Kayvon got his car back and headed home to Rancho!

I'm going to be honest here. I felt bad for Kayvon. But I've always wanted to go to a tow yard at 2 in the morning to pick up a car. I never wanted to pay the $350 fine though, so I'm so very grateful it happened to my friend. Although I still feel so bad for him. He gave me a life experience I will never forget. That's the full truth. Nothing but the truth.

Higher Expectations

Last night was the premiere of Great Gatsby.
Of course, being an incredible fan of the book, I was at the theatre ready to see the movie with 15 close friends. We were excited. We are a group of book nerds who all love to read(well most of us).

When we first found out they were redoing the Great Gatsby movie, we were sort of upset. The original movie is so good! Good enough that we knew it would be hard to redo, and we were right. Lets just say we came with higher expectations than we wanted to have. We didn't want to be as disappointed as we were, but sadly we all took at least one little nap.

I don't have any photos from the night, but we definitely had an amazing night.

Don't get me wrong though, GO SEE IT!!

Oh the Dancing

This year I was asked to Prom by my wonderful friend Isaac Schmitt. He and I have known each other since fourth grade when we were in the same class and in our school musical he played Thomas Jefferson absolutely perfectly(he was in fifth grade at the time). Then my Sophomore year he was in my Spanish class where we become closer as we talked every class. It wasn't until this year that we became close friends though. And boy am I ever so glad I met him and his group of friends. These people have been so nice and have helped me conquer high school the proper way(only 2 years late right??)

I ended up waking up on Saturday morning super sick(with a couch and runny nose) so I was not really feeling up to party. When I told Isaac about my sickly state, he decided to tell me he had just had a delayed poison ivy reaction from the pig hunting trip he had gone on the week before. Needless to say, we both weren't feeling up to dancing but we made the most of it and enjoyed the whole entire night together as best friends! They even played "Forever Young"(which is also played in Napoleon Dynamite) which is Isaac and I's favorite song, so it lifted our spirits.

The boutonniere pinning. I was helped by my grandma, but then the flower head broke off.
Luckily, my friend Tara's mom was there to help us out

Our prom was in Diamond Bar, CA at the Diamond Center on March 20, 2013. We took pictures at the Aliso Viejo Golf Course, which is where we also had a delicious dinner. Right next to the dinner was a wedding. We took a big party bus to and from the dance, and had a magical night dancing and making memories with each other before most of our group goes off to college.
Oh and our best friends Lizzy Schmitt and Spencer Bateman won Prom King and Queen!!
